JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and monitor daily site safety activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and requirements.
• Prepare monthly Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) reports and maintain safety training records.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site safety induction programmes.
• Assist in conducting site safety inspections and audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor workplace hazards and unsafe practices, and report safety issues to the Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
• Maintain safety documentation, including First Aid checklists, man-hour reports, manpower records, and inspection reports.
• Assist the Safety and Health Officer in preparing quarterly SHE performance reports and client safety documentation.
• Coordinate safety training, awareness campaigns, and other safety programmes for employees and site personnel.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and site personnel to promote safe working practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in site safety coordination, preferably in construction, oil and gas, or industrial environments.
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, site safety procedures, and hazard identification.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A valid Safety Site Supervisor (SSS) qualification and DOSH Yellow Book will be an added advantage, subject to project requirements.
• Willing to work at project sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
