Role Description The Economics Teacher will deliver engaging Economics and Business Economics lessons to secondary-level students, ensuring that content is accessible, relevant, and aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include lesson planning, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves guiding students in presentations, projects, and assignments that build critical thinking, communication, and real-world economic understanding. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to support holistic student development, participate in school events, and contribute to maintaining a supportive, family-like learning environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kajang.
Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Economics and Business Economics, with the ability to relate concepts to real-world applications.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching, including designing structured, engaging lessons and managing classroom dynamics.
• Background in Education, with knowledge of pedagogy, assessment methods, and student-centered learning approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and support diverse learners.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Education, or a related field; teaching certification is an advantage.
• Experience teaching at secondary level or equivalent, preferably in alternative or international school environments.
• Ability to integrate presentations, experiments, and assignments into lessons to build college and employment readiness.
• Commitment to a nurturing, values-driven school culture, and willingness to participate in co-curricular and outdoor activities.
