Role Description The Automotive Sales Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya, with a mix of online to offline (O2O) customer engagement and some work-from-home activities.

In this position, the specialist identifies and qualifies prospects, conducts product presentations and test drives, and provides detailed guidance on vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.

The specialist collaborates with marketing and training teams, follow up on leads generated from digital initiatives, and ensure a high-quality customer experience before and after the sale.

Qualifications

• Sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in automotive or related industries.
• Solid customer service and relationship-building skills, including the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with comfort engaging in person, by phone, and online.
• Basic proficiency in general digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, online meeting platforms) to manage leads and sales activities.
• Knowledge of automotive products, features, and financing options, or willingness to learn quickly with structured training.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and coordinate on-site and remote responsibilities.
• Preferred: Experience in automotive retail, fleet sales, or business-to-business sales; familiarity with data-driven sales approaches.
• Preferred: Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
