Working Hours: 6 days per week

Job Scope / Responsibilities:

1.

Official Driving Duties

• Safely drive diplomats and High Commission staff to and from official meetings, events, and appointments.
• Transport visitors, delegates, or other guests as directed by the High Commission.
• Ensure punctuality and route efficiency for all scheduled trips.

2.

Vehicle Maintenance & Care

• Perform daily checks to ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
• Monitor servicing schedules and inform management when maintenance is due.
• Ensure timely servicing, repairs, inspection renewals, and cleanliness (interior and exterior).

3.

Administrative Support

• Maintain a logbook of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history.
• Assist with document delivery, collection of official correspondence, and other ad hoc duties.
• Run errands such as banking, mail pickup, or supply collection, as assigned.

4.

Protocol & Security Awareness

• Adhere to protocol when dealing with diplomats, foreign officials, and security requirements.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Familiarity with secure routes and alternative paths in case of roadblocks or delays.

5.

Readiness & Professionalism

• Be on standby within working hours for unexpected trips or changes in schedule.
• Dress professionally and maintain a courteous, service-oriented attitude.
• Report promptly for duty and notify of any delays or vehicle issues.

Requirements:

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license with clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a personal or corporate driver (experience with diplomatic missions is a plus).
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Able to use GPS, traffic apps, and alternative route planning.
• Physically fit and able to work extended hours if required.
• Discreet, reliable, punctual, and respectful of diplomatic protocol.
