About The Job
This role focuses on driving new business development and securing key industrial coating specifications across Johor and the Southern region. You will play a crucial role in building strategic partnerships and expanding market coverage for high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new high-value accounts across heavy industrial and construction sectors.
- Drive project specifications by engaging directly with structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and project owners.
- Build and maintain long-term working relationships with key applicators and fabricators.
- Work alongside internal technical service teams to deliver technical datasheets, site inspections, and product demonstrations.
- Manage regional sales pipelines, credit terms, and competitor developments to achieve sales targets.
- Proven track record in B2B sales within heavy industrial coatings, protective coatings, or construction materials.
- Demonstrated experience in specification selling to engineers, contractors, and project owners.
- Strong business development capabilities with a focus on new customer acquisition.
- Deep knowledge of the local industrial landscape in Johor and the Southern Region.
- Independent and self-driven professional with excellent negotiation skills.
