Job Description
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoicing, receivables, payables and general ledger entries
- Maintain accounting records and registers, such as receivables, fixed assets and intercompany balances
- Work with internal departments, customers, suppliers and group entities to resolve discrepancies and outstanding items
- Support month-end closing, management reporting, audits and tax reporting
- Assist in annual budget and forecasts.
- Take on other finance and accounting duties as assigned
- Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent qualification
- At least 12 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in the construction, engineering or trading industries is an advantage, especially progress claims billing
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Meticulous and organised, with good follow-up skills and the ability to meet closing deadlines
- Well versed in English
