Assistant/ Finance Manager (Reporting & Regulatory Compliance)

An established Real Estate organisation is seeking a finance professional to support its financial reporting, regulatory compliance and internal control functions. The role covers management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, statutory submissions and financial governance, with opportunities to work with regional stakeholders and support group reporting and corporate disclosures.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Manage monthly financial reporting and analytical reviews, including variance analysis and performance monitoring against budget and forecast.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning and management decision-making.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and oversee regulatory and tax submissions, including GST, corporate income tax and other applicable statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation, statutory obligations and applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain financial records and compliance documentation, monitor regulatory developments and advise management on required actions.
• Review and enhance financial policies, internal controls and reporting processes to strengthen governance and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with overseas service providers, auditors and other internal and external stakeholders on accounting, tax and reporting matters.
• Support group consolidation, corporate disclosures, annual report preparation and other ad-hoc finance assignments as required.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• A degree in Accountancy, Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Relevant experience in financial accounting, management reporting, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax requirements and statutory obligations in Singapore.
• Foundational Audit experience with prior in-house financial reporting experience would be advantageous
• Experience with regulatory reporting and Local listed-company requirements would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines independently.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
