Senior Network Engineering Lead / Network Engineer

Location: Singapore

Experience: 5–10 years for Network Engineer; 10–15 years for Senior Network Engineering Lead

About the Roles

We are hiring experienced network professionals to support enterprise network infrastructure and regional transformation projects across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, SASE, network security and cloud connectivity.

The Senior Network Engineering Lead will own network architecture, design standards and transformation delivery, alongside hands-on technical responsibilities.

The Network Engineer will focus on implementation, configuration, operations and Level 3 troubleshooting, while supporting network projects and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and support reliable, secure and scalable enterprise network solutions.
• Deliver network deployments, upgrades, migrations and technology refreshes.
• Support transformation initiatives, including Fortinet SD-WAN, Zscaler and cloud connectivity.
• Implement network segmentation and segregation to meet security and business requirements.
• Provide Level 3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents.
• Manage network and security components, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, Wi-Fi and Cisco ISE.
• Monitor network health, investigate performance issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain technical diagrams, configuration records and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams, vendors, project stakeholders and the Network Operations Centre.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and change management processes.

Additional responsibilities for the Lead:

• Own enterprise network architecture, technical designs and engineering standards.
• Lead the planning and delivery of regional network transformation initiatives.
• Drive capacity planning, lifecycle management and technology evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate complex engineering decisions across teams.

Requirements

• Network Engineer: 5–10 years of relevant network operations, engineering, design and implementation experience.
• Senior Network Engineering Lead: 10–15 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated ownership of architecture and project delivery.
• Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise routing, switching and network security.
• Experience in network architecture or design, including segmentation or segregation.
• Hands-on experience managing SD-WAN and SASE solutions, such as Fortinet SD-WAN and Zscaler.
• Experience managing firewalls, load balancers, DNS, Wi-Fi and Cisco ISE.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools, including SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IPsec, HSRP, 802.11, QoS and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles, change management and project delivery processes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams and adapt to new technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certification is essential; CCIE or CISSP is highly valued, with CCNP also highly valued for the Lead role.
• Python programming or network automation experience is an advantage.
