Team Overview

• The Sales Engineering team bridges customer needs and company technology, providing solution design, technical credibility, and risk mitigation to drive successful sales outcomes and long-term customer success. The team is globally distributed, covering all major financial markets.

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer acts as the technical authority and trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle—translating customer business and operational requirements into resilient, compliant, and supportable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Discovery & Qualification: Understand business workflows (trading, operations, risk), technical environment, and compliance constraints; validate technical feasibility early
• Solution Architecture & Design: Design end-to-end solutions; produce architecture diagrams and redundancy/DR designs that are scalable and standards-aligned
• Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, customer-relevant demos using product-led storytelling
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate design, integration, and environment risks; raise concerns early
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Professional Services, Managed Services, and Product & Engineering
• Bid Support: Lead technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and customer assurance inquiries
• Sales Enablement: Support customer workshops, technical deep dives, and executive briefings
• Knowledge Development: Stay current with products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Sales Engineer; financial markets services experience is a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Technical Skills (one or more areas)

• IP networking, VoIP, SIP, SBC, LAN/WAN design
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
• Virtualization & containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, KVM
• Security: certificates, encryption, authentication, firewalls
• Environments: Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Teams, Red Hat Linux
• Application integration: OpenFin, FDC3, REST APIs, XML, SOAP
• Voice recording and archiving
• AI automation/analysis/bot integration
