Job Description
Responsibilities
The Logistics Officer will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinate with freight carriers, and maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
Manage daily receiving, unpacking, picking, packing, and issuing of goods.
Shipment & Transport:
Coordinate with drivers, couriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth local or regional deliveries.
Documentation:
Verify delivery notes, purchase orders, packing lists, air waybills (AWB), and customs/inventory paperwork.
Inventory Control:
Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and report damaged or missing goods to management.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety (WSH) standards.
