Senior Laboratory Assistant (Night shift, 12-Month Contract)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory testing activities and ensure accurate, reliable test execution. This role is responsible for setting up and conducting complex tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, analyzing test results, and supporting engineering and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically capable, and enjoys working in a collaborative laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adapt, and operate laboratory equipment and test systems for a variety of testing activities.

• Conduct tests according to established requirements and laboratory procedures.

• Examine test samples, record observations, and prepare accurate test reports and data sheets.

• Analyze test results and communicate findings to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

• Perform routine maintenance and care of laboratory equipment and work areas.

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and operational instructions to support testing activities.

• Collaborate with engineers and laboratory technicians to resolve testing issues and improve processes.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures, safety standards, and company policies.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.

  
  

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary Education with 1-2 years of laboratory, testing, or related technical experience preferred.

• Basic understanding of laboratory testing processes and equipment operation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using computer-based testing systems.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and customers.

• Creative, proactive, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Working hours: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday
