Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to support procurement operations at our NBL Manufacturing Plant. This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted supply of materials, services, and equipment required for plant operations, maintenance, and projects.

The successful candidate will manage procurement activities and contract management in compliance with company procedures, SHE requirements, and quality standards while working closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, purchasing and negotiation activities for raw materials, additives, goods and services.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and conduct market research on pricing, supply capability and industry trends.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, competitive pricing and supply continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate improvement actions when required.
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including negotiation, renewal, amendment and termination.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, regulations and legal requirements.
• Support operational requirements and collaborate with internal departments throughout the procurement and award process.
• Guide and develop junior procurement team members and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Business Management or related field
• Minimum 4 years or more of relevant procurement experience (Chemical/additive purchasing)
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, negotiation and supplier management
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP and SINGLEX would be an added advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English
