• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields.

• Good understanding of basic manufacturing processes, production flow, and engineering principles.

• Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Able to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Willing to learn and hands-on involvement in the production floor environment.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement activities.

• Assist the Production Engineer in monitoring daily production activities and ensuring smooth production operations.

• Support production process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.

• Assist in analysing production issues, identifying root causes, and proposing improvement solutions.

• Monitor production output, downtime, rejection rates, and process performance.

• Assist in preparing production reports, data analysis, and documentation.

• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.

• Assist in conducting time studies, process observations, and workflow improvement projects.

• Work closely with Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve production-related issues.

• Support troubleshooting activities for production equipment and processes.

• Assist in updating work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOP), and process documentation.

• Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects assigned by the department.

Internship Exposure:
The intern will gain practical exposure to manufacturing operations, production planning, process optimisation, quality improvement, and engineering problem-solving within a real industrial environment.
