Job Overview

We are looking for a Network Engineer to support the daily operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining network connectivity, supporting Cisco network equipment and resolving technical issues to ensure stable and reliable network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

• Install, configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches and network equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support routing and switching configurations, including VLANs and OSPF.
• Perform network maintenance, firmware upgrades and patching.
• Assist with network infrastructure deployment and upgrades.

Network Security & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot network issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN connectivity.
• Support firewall configurations, network access controls and security monitoring.
• Investigate network incidents and coordinate with technical teams or vendors when necessary.
• Use network diagnostic and monitoring tools to identify and resolve technical problems.

IT Service Management

• Handle network incidents and service requests according to ITIL practices.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations and troubleshooting records.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues and maintain service availability.
• Escalate complex problems to senior engineers when required.

Job Requirements

• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• ITIL Foundation certification is required.
• Hands-on experience supporting Cisco routers, switches and network infrastructure.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, EIGRP and VPN technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Wireshark is advantageous.
• Exposure to wireless networking and cloud networking is an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with technical teams.
