Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
: Inspect building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and schedule prompt servicing.
Safety & Compliance
: Ensure the property meets local building laws, fire regulations, and occupational safety codes.
Tenant Relations
: Act as the primary contact for resident or commercial tenant requests and complaints.
Vendor & Staff Oversight
: Supervise on-site janitorial or maintenance workers and coordinate outside contractors.
Experience
: Minimum 2 to 3 years in facilities management, building maintenance, or general construction.
Technical Skills
: Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, plus blueprint reading.
Soft Skills
: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and clear communication abilities.
Education
: High school diploma; technical certifications or a facility management diploma are a plus.
