Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.

1–2 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in construction.

Experience in sourcing construction materials, equipment or services is an advantage.

Good negotiation, coordination and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/purchasing systems is an advantage.

Able to manage multiple purchase requirements and work within deadlines.

Coordinate purchasing activities based on approved material and project requirements.

Source suppliers, obtain quotations and conduct price and commercial comparisons.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on approvals.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers where applicable.

Coordinate with Project, Site, QS, Finance and Store teams on purchasing requirements.

Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules and outstanding items.

Monitor material prices, supplier performance and purchasing costs.

Maintain proper purchasing records, quotations, POs, delivery orders and supplier documentation.

Coordinate basic logistics and transportation arrangements for material deliveries to project sites or warehouse.

Assist in evaluating suppliers and identifying cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
