As Assistant Director, Finance, you will be leading a team of finance personnel in performing all aspects of finance and accounting functions through engaging operational staff, business heads, senior management and other stakeholders. The finance and accounting functions include business partnering, accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial operations, taxation, internal control and governance matters.

Besides having the expertise, experience and determination to spearhead change processes, such as IT system implementation, policy and process improvements / alignments, you are also expected to gain a solid understanding of business operations to achieve synergies and ensure smooth operations of the finance and accounting activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline with at least 12 years working experience in finance / accounting role, of which, at least 5 years in a managerial position leading 5 or more staff
• Qualified CPA / CA
• Extensive and hands-on experience in full spectrum of finance functions, particularly operational finance, cash handling and accounting activities is critical criteria for the incumbent to succeed the role
• Proven track record as an effective business partner to relevant stakeholders on the financial implications / impact of business operations
• Experience in FMCG, hospitality or tourism businesses will be an added advantage
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
