Position: Engineering Lecturer

Location: Centerpoint Business Park, Seksyen 26, Shah Alam

Salary Range: RM2,500 – RM3,500 per month

Job Overview

Are you passionate about engineering, machining and developing future industry professionals?

We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Lecturer specialising in Machining and CNC to join our academic team. You will deliver effective theoretical and practical training, guide students in developing industry-relevant competencies, and support the quality and continuous improvement of our academic programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching, training, and assessment sessions
• Ensure training and assessment activities are conducted accurately, fairly and professionally.
• Guide students in preparing competency records, practical evidence and assessment documentation.
• Mentor and support students in their academic progress, skills development and overall well-being.
• Review and update teaching materials and curriculum content to meet industry needs and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in college events, academic activities, and initiatives
• Maintain accurate student, training and assessment records in Student Management System, MySPIKE and other relevant systems.
• Participate in college events, academic activities, meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the organisation, discipline and smooth daily operations of the college.

Job Requirements

• Minimum qualification of Diploma in Kemahiran (DKM), Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM), Diploma or a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Machining Technology or a related field.
• Possession of VTO, TVET-i, and/or a recognised Teaching Permit will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of machining operations, CNC machining and CNC programming.
• Practical experience in operating and setting up conventional and CNC machines.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and technical drawing interpretation.
• Relevant teaching, vocational training or machining industry experience.
• Familiarity with TVET, MQA or JPK requirements and standards.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in machining, CNC operations, manufacturing, or a related field is an added advantage
