Job Description: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / AWS Cloud Engineer

Experience: 4+ Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud environments, and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, monitoring, disaster recovery, security, and 24x7 production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), high availability (HA), and restore testing.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Provide 24x7 production support, incident management, and troubleshooting in accordance with SLAs.
• Implement cloud security, governance, compliance, and infrastructure standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, procedures, and incident reports.
• Optimize cloud costs, auto-scaling, load balancing, and infrastructure performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and vendors on infrastructure projects and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud provisioning, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, directory services, load balancing, clustering, SFTP, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience in cloud backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security, audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications or certifications in cloud architecture, networking, infrastructure, virtualization, or backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience working in the financial services or banking industry.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.
