The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect / Technical Consultant to join our growing team in Singapore.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, commercially aware cloud architect who enjoys building meaningful customer relationships, solving complex challenges and taking ownership of their recommendations.

You'll become the trusted technical adviser for a portfolio of customers, shaping their cloud strategy, delivering Well-Architected Reviews and designing secure, scalable and cost-effective solutions.

Working across both Microsoft Azure and AWS, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement, solution design and technical pre-sales.

We're particularly interested in candidates with strong Azure expertise alongside solid AWS experience, as Azure represents an exciting area of growth for our business.

This isn't a role where you'll simply produce technical documentation for someone else to present. You'll own the recommendations, present directly to customers and help turn strategy into delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Own the technical relationship and cloud architecture strategy for a portfolio of 3–5 customers.
• Develop and maintain 3, 6 and 12-month technical roadmaps aligned to customer objectives.
• Lead technical discussions during monthly service reviews and quarterly business reviews.
• Act as a trusted adviser to customer engineering teams, senior stakeholders and CTOs.

Cloud Architecture & Well-Architected Reviews

• Lead end-to-end Well-Architected Reviews across Azure and AWS.
• Identify architectural risks, optimisation opportunities and improvement priorities.
• Design secure, resilient and cost-effective cloud solutions covering networking, compute, storage, identity, high availability and disaster recovery.
• Support complex cloud migrations, modernisation programmes and operational handovers.

Technical Pre-Sales & Consulting

• Partner with Account Managers to support new business opportunities and existing customer growth.
• Lead technical discovery workshops, solution design sessions and scoping discussions.
• Contribute to proposals, technical presentations and RFP responses.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, commercially viable solutions.

Engineering Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Provide senior technical escalation support and participate in the L2 support rota.
• Mentor and collaborate with engineers across the APAC region.
• Contribute to reference architectures, technical standards and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement across our cloud consulting and managed services capabilities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with the confidence to engage directly with customers and influence technical decisions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, architecture or technical consulting.
• Deep technical expertise across Microsoft Azure and AWS, ideally with Azure as your strongest platform.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing consulting, professional services or managed services environment.
• Experience delivering Well-Architected Reviews and translating findings into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Strong cloud architecture skills covering infrastructure, networking, security, identity, resilience and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on experience using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in production environments.
• Experience supporting technical pre-sales, solution scoping and customer presentations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present technical recommendations to senior business leaders.
• Professional-level Azure or AWS certification, ideally Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, with associate-level certification on the other platform.

If you're missing one of the preferred certifications, we'll support you in achieving it during your first year.

Desirable Experience

We'd also love to hear from candidates with experience in:

• Azure Landing Zones, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft public sector frameworks.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Cloudflare technologies.
• FinOps, cloud cost optimisation and observability.
• Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Linux and Windows workloads and legacy application modernisation.
• Singapore public sector or government cloud environments.
• Mentoring and supporting engineering teams across international locations.
