About URS-Solomon Islands Partnership Facilit
On 1 July 2013, the Solomon Islands Partnership Facility (SIPF) commenced which:
Serves all sector programs under the Australia – Solomon Islands Partnership for Development (P4D) on an as needed basis, for Advisers, Contractual Management, program management and logistics; and
Provides cost effective support services to specific standards for Deployees and their families, to enable the Deployees to implement the aid program effectively and reside safely in the Solomon Islands.
The goal of SIPF is:
"To effectively and efficiently support the work of the DFAT development program in meeting the objectives of SIG Development Programs."
The objective of the Facility is:
"To provide support services to DFAT programs and Deployees consistent with SIG development priorities."
