Utama International Schools follow a well-planned and strategically organized curriculum provided by the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) board. We have a strong emphasis on core curriculum subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science, as these are the areas that can unlock success across the academic curriculum. We also appreciate that whilst English is the language spoken in our school, it is the second language for most of our students. For that reason, we offer English as a Second Language to children in all years as a timetabled lesson and we’re also one of the few schools to offer this subject at the International GCSE level. English isn’t the only language we teach; we also teach Malay to all students at our school. Whether it’s sports, the arts, languages, science, or the social sciences our teachers will inspire and support your child in achieving their personal best through innovative teaching and learning and pastoral support. We’re very proud that our students achieve highly at International Checkpoint and GCSE levels, but we’re equally proud of their moral and ethical values and good manners. Our students make positive contributions as global citizens.
