Witness and inspect the installation, grounding, and cabling of critical electrical components such as transformers, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), protection relays, and battery rooms.
Oversee the quality of substation building foundations, transformer bays, firewalls, cable trenches, and structural steel structures.
Inspect incoming materials to ensure all high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment matches approved engineering drawings, datasheets, and local regulatory certifications....
Coordinate directly with the civil engineering team to ensure transformer plinths, firewalls, blast walls, underground cable trenches, and GIS rooms are structurally ready and clear of design clashes before electrical installation begins.
Review and interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, cable routing layouts, and equipment shop drawings to resolve site execution queries.
Review technical submittals, datasheets, and procurement specs to ensure vendor packages align with the contract requirements....
