Who we are looking for: We would like to hear from mechanical engineering specialists who have worked directly with live mission-critical systems. You should have strong cooling-system knowledge and practical experience troubleshooting failures, supporting incidents and advising operations teams. You should also be comfortable working with equipment manufacturers and maintenance contractors, reviewing maintenance practices and identifying risks that could affect system reliability.
Data centre experience is preferred, although relevant experience in other mission-critical environments will also be considered. Liquid-cooling experience would be useful, but it is not essential.
The important part is having direct operational and maintenance experience, rather than a background focused only on equipment supply or project delivery....
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, ICT and specialist systems to manage interfaces, prevent clashes and maintain construction sequencing.
Monitor contractor progress, manpower, productivity, material availability and installation quality, taking corrective action where milestones are at risk.
Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, inspection requirements and project quality standards....
You'll be working across power infrastructure including HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear and protection systems, while partnering closely with operations teams, contractors and equipment vendors to improve reliability and maintenance outcomes.
We're interested in speaking with engineers who combine strong technical expertise with real-world operational experience. Candidates from data centres, semiconductor facilities, utilities, critical infrastructure environments and similar mission-critical industries are all encouraged to apply.
Experience leading incident investigations, conducting root cause analysis and supporting major maintenance or commissioning activities will be highly regarded. Exposure to liquid cooling technologies, critical power systems and large-scale operational environments would be advantageous....
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits, identify hazards and unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
Monitor environmental controls, including wastewater discharge, chemical handling and storage, waste management, erosion and sediment control, dust and noise.
Manage contractor and subcontractor EHS performance, ensuring adequate controls are in place for high-risk activities and that site teams comply with project requirements....
