History
1832 -Nagase founded in Kyoto, Japan as a dyestuffs trading concern.
1900 -Established business ties with Ciba-Geigy.
1923 -Established business ties with Eastman Kodak Company.
1930 -Awarded exclusive distributorship with United States Carbide and Chemicals & Plastics Company, Inc.
1952 -Established business ties with Eastman Chemical Comapny.
1964 -Listed Company shares on the Osaka Securities Exchange.
1968 -Awarded exclusive distributorship for engineering plastics by General Electric Co,United States.
1969 -Listed Company shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1970 -NAGASE-CIBA Ltd was formed as joint venture with Ciba to manufacture expoxy resins.
1971 -Setup joint venture company, Engineering Plastics Ltd, with GE to produce engineering plastics.
1975 -Established Nagase Singapore (Pte) Ltd. 1982 -Established Nagase (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur.
1991 -Nagase (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Johor Bahru was set up as Branch office.

Chemicals -In the areas of Agro-chemical, Chemicals for Electronics Industry, Chlorinated Solvents, Coating chemicals, PVC related chemicals. Major brands and our chemicals affiliates are : Asahi Glass & Co. Ltd, Fuji Silysia Chemicals.
Plastics -Distributor of engineering plastics manufactured by the Sabic Innovative Plastics. Also supplies general purposes plastic. Major Brands are : SABIC Innovative Plastics, Asahi Chemical, Denka, Toray Nylon, Calp.
Electronics -Provide electronics products in the field of : Semiconductor,PCB & PCBA, Quartz Crystal, Hard Disk Drive.
Machinery -Supply plastic injection moulding machines and automated system used in the plastics and electronics industries.
Medical & Life Sciences -Otsuka Pharmaceutical-Urea Breath Test Machine, Hayashibara -Food, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Ingredients, DRG International-ELISA diagnostic kits.
