1832 -Nagase founded in Kyoto, Japan as a dyestuffs trading concern.

1900 -Established business ties with Ciba-Geigy.

1923 -Established business ties with Eastman Kodak Company.

1930 -Awarded exclusive distributorship with United States Carbide and Chemicals & Plastics Company, Inc.

1952 -Established business ties with Eastman Chemical Comapny.

1964 -Listed Company shares on the Osaka Securities Exchange.

1968 -Awarded exclusive distributorship for engineering plastics by General Electric Co,United States.

1969 -Listed Company shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

1970 -NAGASE-CIBA Ltd was formed as joint venture with Ciba to manufacture expoxy resins.

1971 -Setup joint venture company, Engineering Plastics Ltd, with GE to produce engineering plastics.

1975 -Established Nagase Singapore (Pte) Ltd. 1982 -Established Nagase (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur.

1991 -Nagase (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Johor Bahru was set up as Branch office.
