Each position requires professionals with strong backgrounds in the upstream oil and gas sector, preferably with proven experience in onshore and offshore construction, upgrading, and project management in line with PETRONAS technical and contractual standards.

Qualification and Work Experience

Project Manager

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering; Registered Engineer with BEM (Malaysia)

≥ 20 years in upstream O&G; ≥ 10 years as Project Manager; experienced in managing onshore & offshore construction/upgrading projects

Engineering Manager

Registered Professional Engineer (BEM/IEM); Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering

≥ 16 years in upstream O&G; ≥ 6 years as Engineering Manager; vast knowledge in design & project management

Senior Project Engineer

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering

≥ 20 years in upstream O&G; ≥ 10 years as Senior Project Engineer; extensive experience in project management & construction

Coordinator / Interface Engineer

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 15 years in upstream O&G; ≥ 7 years as Coordinator/Interface Engineer; experienced in offshore construction or upgrading

Project Engineer

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering

≥ 15 years in O&G; ≥ 7 years as Project Engineer; experienced in offshore construction or upgrading

Project Planning / Scheduling Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 15 years in O&G; ≥ 7 years as Project Planner; strong in project planning and Primavera or similar software

HSE / Safety Engineer

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 15 years in O&G; ≥ 7 years as HSE Engineer; experienced in offshore construction or upgrading

QA / QC Engineer

Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 15 years total; ≥ 7 years as QA/QC Engineer; strong knowledge of PETRONAS technical requirements

Authority Liaison Officer

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 15 years in O&G; ≥ 7 years as Authority Liaison Officer/Coordinator/Logistic; experienced in offshore facilities

Lead Engineer

Registered Professional Engineer (BEM/IEM); Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering

≥ 11 years in upstream O&G; ≥ 6 years as Lead Engineer; extensive experience in design & project management

Senior Engineer

Registered Professional Engineer (BEM/IEM); Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering

≥ 7 years total; ≥ 5 years as Senior Engineer; experienced in design & project management

Engineer

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 10 years total; ≥ 5 years as Engineer; experienced in offshore construction or upgrading

Senior Technical Assistant

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

≥ 15 years total; ≥ 10 years as Senior Technical Assistant in O&G

High School Certificate / SPM

Document Controller

Senior Contract Engineer

Degree in Engineering

≥ 15 years total; ≥ 7 years as Lead/Senior Contract Engineer; experience in PSC/JDA/RSC companies; familiar with PETRONAS contractual requirements

Senior Contract Analyst

Degree in Science/Law/Account/ Business Admin or equivalent
