K-Plastics Industries Sdn Bhd was formerly a subsidiary of King Plastic Group, a Singapore company incorporated in 1986. To meet market demand, the company expanded into South East Asia, establishing subsidiaries in Malaysia (1996), Indonesia (2011) and Vietnam (2013).

In 2018, King Plastic and its subsidiaries merged to become part of Dynapack Asia, Indonesia. Dynapack Asia operates 32 manufacturing plants across 6 countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and China), providing plastic solutions for consumer packaging, components, and industrial packaging.
