Perform mechanical design activities, including machine concept development, 3D modelling, engineering drawings, tolerance analysis, mechanism calculations, component selection and design risk assessment.
Work closely with Product Design, Process Engineering, Electrical Controls, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers to define equipment specifications and technical DFM requirements.
Lead machine-development projects from concept, fabrication and assembly through debugging, qualification and production handover, ensuring cycle time, yield, capability, reliability, cost and timeline targets are achieved.
