He/She defines the warehouse material lay out and supervise a team of operators in charge of the receiving, storing and material transfer to production, following the company standards and maintain high level of integrity of the stock accuracy and daily system update of the physical transactions. The individual is coordinating the monthly stock take, analyse variances and make necessary process correction to improve accuracy.
He/She work closely with Quality and Production on all the engineering changes of compound material and homologation of new raw materials, with major focus of the impact of the change in the material (availability of new material and obsolescence exposure of discontinued material). The individual will be responsible to monitor the slow-moving material and find possible use before expiring date to avoid costly disposal.
Along with Production and Quality the Individual will be a primary owner of the 5S in the compounding area following the company procedure for handling material to be dispose, schedule waste, non-conform materials. ...
