EIS benefits are paid out based on a percentage of your last drawn salary, up to a maximum of six months. The rates decrease over time:
- 1st month – 80% of last drawn salary
- 2nd month – 50% of last drawn salary
- 3rd & 4th month – 40% of last drawn salary
- 5th & 6th month – 30% of last drawn salary
