Lead Generation and Prospecting (approximately 35%)

Build and maintain target prospect lists for assigned market segments, including commercial buildings, data centres, enterprise, and public sector accounts.
Conduct account research using LinkedIn, company websites, industry directories, tender portals, and news sources to identify decision makers and buying triggers.
Execute outbound prospecting through email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and outbound calls in line with agreed messaging and activity targets.
Personalise outreach to the recipient’s industry, role, and likely business need rather than issuing generic messaging.
Generate follow-up lists from marketing campaigns, webinars, trade shows, and partner events, and work those lists to completion.

Lead Qualification (approximately 25%)

Respond to all inbound enquiries received through the website, email, social channels, and events within the agreed service level.
Qualify prospects against the Company’s agreed criteria, establishing requirement, decision authority, indicative budget, and project timeline.
Determine and record the appropriate disposition for each lead: qualified for handover, nurture, or disqualified with reason.
Prepare complete handover notes for each qualified lead and transfer it to the assigned Account Manager, confirming receipt.
Maintain a structured nurture cadence for prospects that are not yet ready to engage, and re-qualify them at appropriate intervals.

Inside Sales Support (approximately 25%)

Schedule discovery calls, meetings, and product demonstrations for Account Managers and Solution Engineers.
Prepare quotations, proposal documents, and collateral packs under the supervision of the reporting manager.
Track outstanding quotations and proposals, and conduct timely follow-up with prospects to progress or close them out.
Maintain accurate and current records of all leads, contacts, activities, and opportunities in the Company’s CRM or pipeline tracker.
Support the preparation of customer-facing materials for meetings, including company introductions and solution summaries.

Marketing Support, Reporting and AI-Assisted Productivity (approximately 15%)

Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, LinkedIn activity, and event coordination.
Compile and submit weekly reporting on outreach activity, lead volume, conversion, and pipeline contribution.
Maintain the sales collateral library, ensuring Account Managers have access to current versions of all customer-facing material.
Apply approved AI tools to accelerate account research, list building, and drafting of personalised outreach, exercising independent judgement on factual accuracy and tone before any message is sent.
Verify all AI-assisted output prior to issue; the jobholder remains accountable for the accuracy of any communication sent to a prospect.
