Academic QualificationA Bachelor's Degree (MQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or another construction-related discipline, from a programme accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Candidates holding an engineering degree recognised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) for admission to the Register of Graduate Engineers are strongly preferred. A postgraduate qualification in project or construction management will be an added advantage.
Working ExperienceMinimum two (2) years of site-based planning and scheduling experience in building, infrastructure or industrial construction projects, covering preparation of work programmes, monitoring of site progress against the approved baseline, and coordination with site execution teams and subcontractors. Mechanical Design & CAD Modelling: Create and revise 3D models, assemblies and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD tools as required. Design components and systems with consideration for functionality, manufacturability, assembly, maintainability, material selection and cost-effectiveness.
BOM Management & Engineering Change Control: Prepare, monitor, maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure part numbers, descriptions, quantities, materials and revisions are accurate. Coordinate design or component changes with purchasing, project, production and other relevant teams.
