Food Production Operator

Job Overview

DF Petrition Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible and hardworking Food Production Operator to join our team in the pet food manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will assist in daily production activities, including ingredient preparation, cooking, blending, filling, sealing, retort processing, and packing. Candidates with previous food production or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily pet food production, including ingredient preparation, weighing, cooking, blending, filling, sealing, retort processing, and packing.
• Follow approved recipes, production instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and HACCP food safety requirements.
• Check product weight, sealing quality, product appearance, and packaging accuracy.
• Operate production machinery and equipment safely after training.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area, including machines, utensils, and equipment.
• Complete production, cleaning, and quality control records accurately.
• Report damaged packaging, product defects, equipment issues, or food safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with stock counting, material handling, and other production duties when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Able to follow instructions, recipes, and production procedures carefully.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and handle production materials.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Food Handler Training and typhoid vaccination are preferred. The company may arrange these if required.

Salary & Benefits

• Full Attendance Allowance: RM200 per month
• Quarterly KPI Incentive: RM300 – RM500, subject to applicable performance criteria
• EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions
• Overtime allowance where applicable

Working Schedule

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Break: 1 hour
• Workweek: 5 or 5.5 working days, depending on the production schedule and operational requirements
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
