Key Responsibilities

• Cashier Operations
• Supervise daily cashier operations and ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Ensure all cashiers follow company procedures and POS guidelines.
• Monitor cash registers, payment terminals, and cashier stations.
• Ensure sufficient cash floats are prepared for each shift.
• Manage cashier opening and closing procedures.
• Cash Management
• Monitor cash, credit/debit card, e-wallet, and other payment transactions.
• Verify cash collections and conduct cash counts.
• Ensure cash is securely handled, stored, and transferred.
• Investigate cash shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation for cash adjustments and refunds.
• Daily Reconciliation
• Reconcile POS sales against actual cash and electronic payments.
• Prepare daily cashier closing and reconciliation reports.
• Verify cashier settlement reports before submission to management.
• Identify and report unusual transactions or variances promptly.
• Team Supervision
• Supervise and guide cashiers during daily operations.
• Prepare or assist with cashier duty rosters.
• Train new cashiers on POS systems, payment procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work performance.
• Provide coaching and corrective guidance when required.
• Customer Service
• Ensure cashiers provide professional and efficient customer service.
• Assist with customer complaints involving payments, refunds, or billing.
• Handle difficult or escalated payment-related issues.
• Ensure correct pricing, discounts, promotions, and loyalty benefits are applied.
• POS & Transaction Control
• Ensure all sales are properly recorded in the POS system.
• Monitor voids, refunds, cancellations, discounts, and price adjustments.
• Ensure authorized approval is obtained for controlled transactions.
• Report suspicious or irregular transactions to management.
• Security & Compliance
• Follow cash-handling and security procedures.
• Prevent unauthorized access to cash drawers and cashier areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
• Support internal and external audits when required.
• Reporting
• Prepare daily cashier and cash reconciliation reports.
• Report cash variances and operational issues to the Outlet Manager.
• Maintain proper records of refunds, voids, discrepancies, and cash movements.
• Provide feedback on cashier performance and operational issues.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
