Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Purchasing and Logistics Executive with experience in food manufacturing and a degree in Food Technology. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics operations, as well as a deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Fluency in Mandarin, both spoken and written, is essential for this role to manage communication with suppliers and logistics partners in Mandarin-speaking regions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies required for food production, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.

· Liaise with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and company policies.

· Oversee logistics operations, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, transportation, and warehousing.

· Track inventory levels and optimize stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

· Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, HALAL and other relevant regulations.

· Actively involve in processing documentations for new regulation compliance.

· Communicate effectively with internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

· Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing and logistics records, reports, and documentation.

· Monitor market trends and changes in supply chain dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any supply chain or logistics issues that may arise.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics in the food manufacturing industry.

· Strong understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP and GMP.

· Fluency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

· Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics documentation is a plus.
