Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist with financial statements and coordinate annual statutory audits.
• Prepare tax computations and filing documentation; liaise with tax agents and auditors.
• Monitor client records, outstanding information and reporting deadlines.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and properly maintained.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams on accounting, audit and tax matters.
• Support improvements and digitalisation of accounting processes.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• 2–5 years of working experience in audit, tax or accounting firms preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and Malaysian tax requirements.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
• Meticulous, responsible, organised and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and coordinate with clients.
• Good communication skills; Mandarin, Japanese or other languages are added advantages.
