• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional certification (ACCA, CPA, MIA).

• At least 5 years of financial accounting experience, with overseas/multi-currency exposure preferred.

• Audit background (Big 4 or mid-tier firms) is an advantage.

• Experience in Ecommerce, Retail, or MNCs is highly valued.

• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, and multi-currency accounting.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Good command of English and Mandarin (Mandarin proficiency required when dealing with our counterparts and suppliers based in China)

Your Responsibilities:

1⃣ Financial Accounting & Reporting (Local & Overseas Entities)

• Handle full sets of accounts for assigned entities with accuracy and timeliness.

• Review AR/AP transactions and ensure proper postings.

• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and overseas currency accounts (including forex).

• Prepare monthly P&L reports, balance sheets, variance analysis, and assist with SST submissions, audits, and tax queries.

2⃣ Regional Compliance & Financial Control

• Conduct reviews of accounting records, internal controls, and cash management.

• Recommend process improvements for local/overseas entities.

• Ensure compliance with Malaysian and international accounting standards.

3⃣ Financial Consolidation & Strategic Support

• Assist in monthly group consolidation, budgeting, and reporting.

• Support audit and tax reviews for subsidiaries.

• Prepare financial presentations for board/regulatory use and provide data analysis for decision-making.
