RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and monitor CNC machines during production.
- Ensure machine operation is running according to instructions provided by the CNC Machinist/ Engineer.
- Conduct basic inspection of parts produced using measuring tools.
- Report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality issues to the CNC Machinist/ Engineer.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of machines and work areas.
- Perform basic machine care and daily maintenance activities.
- Follow production schedules and work instructions.
- Comply with all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Job Descriptions:
1. CNC Machine Operation
- Operate CNC machines according to established work instructions.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Monitor machine performance during production.
- Ensure machines are running safely and efficiently.
- Stop production and notify the CNC Machinist immediately if any abnormality occurs.
2. Production Support
- Assist the CNC Machinist in daily production activities.
- Support machine setup activities when required.
- Ensure production output meets daily targets assigned.
- Handle materials and parts according to production requirements.
- Follow all production schedules and instructions.
3. Quality Inspection
- Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections on finished parts.
- Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges, and dial indicators.
- Record inspection results as required.
- Segregate non-conforming products and report quality issues immediately.
- Ensure products meet specifications before releasing to the next process.
4. Machine Care & Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning of machines and workstations.
- Conduct basic daily machine checks before and after operation.
- Report machine wear, damage, or maintenance requirements to the CNC Machinist.
- Assist in preventive maintenance activities when instructed.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in accordance with company standards.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations, procedures, and work instructions.
- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to the CNC Machinist or Supervisor.
6. Reporting & Communication
- Report machine breakdowns, abnormalities, and production issues to the CNC Machinist.
- Communicate quality concerns and production delays promptly.
- Escalate issues that may affect production output or product quality.
- Follow instructions provided by the CNC Machinist, CNC Engineer, and Management.
7. Additional Knowledge
- Understand of CNC machine operation and basic maintenance.
- Good hands-on technical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a team and follow instructions from engineers/supervisors.
- Experience in automotive or pneumatic parts manufacturing is an advantage.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
