Job Summary

The Patrolling Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting regular patrols, monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized activities, and responding to incidents. The role requires vigilance, integrity, and quick decision-making to protect people, property, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random patrols of assigned areas (on foot or by vehicle).
• Monitor and authorize entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, hazards, or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Inspect buildings, gates, doors, and equipment to ensure proper security.
• Provide assistance during emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or evacuations.
• Write accurate and detailed incident and patrol reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, or emergency responders when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education (SPM or equivalent preferred).
• Proven experience in security services or a related field is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Good observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
• Basic report writing and communication skills (English and/or Bahasa Malaysia).
• Valid driving license (patrol involves vehicle use).
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
