Company Description Little Swimmer Swim Academy is a community-focused swim school dedicated to helping children and beginners build confidence and safety in the water. The academy offers structured swim programs, emphasizing proper technique, water safety, and fun, engaging learning experiences. Located in Bukit Mertajam, it serves local families with small class sizes and attentive coaching. The team values patience, clear communication, and a supportive environment for both learners and staff. Interns join a close-knit team that encourages growth, learning, and hands-on experience in a swim school setting.

Role Description This is an on-site internship role based in Bukit Mertajam. The Intern will support daily operations at the swim academy, including assisting coaches during lessons, helping prepare and organize swimming equipment, and ensuring the learning environment is clean and safe. The role may involve welcoming learners and families, helping with class check-in, and responding to basic inquiries under supervision. The Intern will also assist with simple administrative tasks such as recording attendance, updating schedules, and supporting basic promotional activities. Guidance and training will be provided to help the Intern develop practical skills and gain exposure to the day-to-day running of a swim academy.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with children, families, and team members.
• Interest in swimming, sports, or education, with a willingness to learn about water safety and basic swim instruction.
• Organizational skills to help manage class schedules, attendance records, and equipment setup.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Positive attitude, patience, and comfort working around children in a busy, active environment.
• Availability to work on-site in Bukit Mertajam according to the academy’s class timetable.
• Basic computer literacy for simple data entry or communication tasks is an advantage.

Salary: RM500-RM1000/month, extra pay if can be assistant coach by hourly pay.
