* Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related

* 5+ years in HR, including at least 2 running the function or leading a small team

* Working knowledge of Malaysian employment law — Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 & statutory contributions

* Hands-on with payroll and HRDF claims

* Fluent in BM and English — write policy in English, sit with technicians in BM

* Willing to be the most senior HR person here and still do the hands-on work

Nice to have: engineering / construction / facilities background · ISO 9001 internal auditor training · HRDF / PSMB coordination

* Run the full HR function: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance & exit

* Lead hiring across the business — shape the role, run the process, make offers that get accepted

* Handle employee relations properly: grievances, disciplinary matters & domestic inquiries, fairly and documented

* Keep us compliant — Employment Act, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, minimum wage & HRDF claims

* Run payroll with the finance team, keep salary bands and job grades sensible

* Own the HR policies, contracts & employee handbook

* Keep HR and training records audit-ready under ISO 9001

* Advise the directors on people decisions, and coach line managers to handle their own teams
