JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a responsible and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Perform routine servicing and mechanical repairs on Proton vehicles according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Carry out vehicle maintenance tasks, including engine oil changes, fluid checks, tyre rotations, brake pad and sensor replacements, wheel bearing maintenance, and other general repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle problems.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and quality checks before returning vehicles to customers.
• Estimate repair times accurately and update Service Advisors on job progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines when performing servicing and repairs.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or the immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SKM Level II, Diploma in Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Salary will be based on qualifications and relevant working experience.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team.
• Must have own transportation and a valid Class D driving licence.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to develop technical skills.
• Willing to work in Sungai Long, Kajang.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
