About the role

As a Test & Instrumentation Field Service Engineer, you will support the installation, commissioning, servicing and optimisation of T&M and handler equipment at customer sites. You will help ensure automation machines operate reliably and meet required specifications and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform T&M and handler installations, repairs and servicing at customer sites.
• Provide T&M and handler operation training to customers when required.
• Optimise machine specifications and operational feasibility.
• Perform final machine buy-off after setup at the customer site.
• Operate, simulate and test machine automation and related processes to complete required tasks.
• Carry out other related tasks as instructed by management.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Windows-based automation applications.
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical wiring on machines.
• Experience in the system integration of automation machines.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work hands-on with industrial automation equipment.
