Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all safety and health practices adhere to company policies and local government regulations.
• Liaison with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, CIDB, etc.) to ensure ongoing compliance and address relevant issues.
• Prepare detailed reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management as necessary.
• Create and manage reports and checklists required by clients and local authorities
• Investigating accidents, perilous incidents, and workplace-related diseases.
• Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees and subcontractors.
• Develop and update training materials and resources to enhance safety awareness and compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols.
• Work closely with the project team to address site security, health, safety, and cleanliness issues.

Requirements:

• Certified and registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH / JKKP (Green Book Holder).
• Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree (Environment / Health / Safety) or its equivalent.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations & requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Construction Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
