Job Summary (JS)

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. This role handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and assists in monthly financial closing while ensuring compliance with company policies and Malaysian accounting standards.

The Accounts Executive works closely with the Senior Account Executive to ensure smooth financial operations and timely reporting.

Job Description (JD)
1. Accounting Operations

• Maintain full set of accounts or partial accounts depending on company structure.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) including supplier invoices and payments.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing and customer collections.
• Process expense claims and reimbursements.

2. Financial Reporting

• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of management reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliation and account reconciliations.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.

3. Compliance & Audit

• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and company policies.
• Support tax agents for tax filings and SST submissions (if applicable).

4. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.
• Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.

5. Coordination

• Liaise with internal departments regarding payments, billing, and expenses.
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoices and payments.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
