Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Conduct quantity take-off, measurement, and cost analysis for construction works.
• Prepare tender documents, quotation requests, and cost comparisons.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs remain within the approved budget.
• Prepare progress claims, interim payments, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Review contractual documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy of quantities and costs.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
• Monitor project cash flow and prepare cost reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contractual requirements.

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for Junior Quantity Surveyor positions.

Skills & Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and measurement standards.
• Good understanding of contract administration and construction costing.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Relevant construction experience is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,700.00 per month
