Technical & Sofware Requirements

• Accredited Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by national board (e.g., BEM?EAS in Malaysia)

• Professional Registration: Registerd as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM)

• CAD & BIM Tools: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk Civil 3D for blueprint drafting.

• Structural Analysis Software: Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Promavera P6.

Practical & On-Site Compentencies

• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to accurately read, crosscheck, and translate architectural and structural drawings.

• Data Literacy: Competecy in analyzing geotechnical (soil) reports, topograpical surveys, and material testing data.

• QA/QC Frameworks: Deep understanding of quality control processes, material inspections, and site safety protocols (HSE)

• Costing Awareness: Experience preparing or reviewing Bill of Quantities (BQ) and material estimations.

Interpersonal & Soft Skills

• Clear Communication: Ability to deliver precise technical instruction to site crews and write concise progress reports

• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skill to quickly resolve design clashes or unexpectated site issues.

• Project Management: Capability to mange project timelines, vendor deliverables, and strict construction budgets.

• Mobility: Posessiossion of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to various project sites.

Construction & Site Supervision Phase

• Site Supervision: Manage dat-to-day operations on-site, ensuring contractors and sub-contractors build strictly according to engineering specifications.

• Project Scheduling: Track daily construction milestones against the master timeline using Microsoft Project pr Primavera P6

• QA/QC Inspections: Conduct routine quality checks on concrete pouring, steel bar placement, and incoming raw materials to prevent structure deviations.

• HSE Compliance: Enforce occupational satety protocols on-site to maintain a zero- accident working environment.

Collaboration & Project Closure Phase

• Clash Resolution: Resolve immediate design conflicts or unexpected structural anomalies on-site through coordination with architects and M&E engineers.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate subcontractor claims, verify variations in order costs, and recommend progress payments.

• Reporting: Prepare routine project progress summaries, techincal logs, and final 'as-built' drawing for stakeholders and client sign-offs.
