Role Description This full-time Writer role is based on-site in Puchong. The Writer will research and produce clear, engaging content about cryptocurrencies, market trends, and related topics for articles, blogs, guides, and platform copy. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and verifying data, interviewing subject matter experts, structuring complex information into accessible narratives, and ensuring all content is accurate, timely, and aligned with CoinGecko’s tone and brand standards. The role also involves collaborating with editors, designers, and product teams, optimizing content for digital channels, and updating existing materials in line with new developments in the crypto space.
Qualifications

• Ability to research complex topics, analyze data, and transform findings into clear, concise written content.
• Strong writing and editing skills for web articles, educational content, and product-related copy.
• Understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and financial markets, or strong interest and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to fact-check, verify sources, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Comfort working with digital tools for content creation, collaboration, and basic SEO optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team on-site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in content writing, financial or tech journalism, or crypto-related publications is an advantage.
