About the Role:

Kagayaku Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Shipping Intern to join our supply chain team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the logistics, shipping, and distribution processes of a dynamic and growing organization. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to real-world projects that support the efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily shipping and receiving operations
• Track shipments and update records in internal systems
• Prepare shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, labels)
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouses
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
• Support import/export compliance processes
• Help optimize shipping routes and reduce transportation costs
• Assist with data entry, report generation, and documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the logistics or operations team

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, or supply chain concepts is a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
